Vintage Scottish Declaration of Arbroath Parchment Notizblock

A notebook for Scottish independence supporters who like their history. The photograph shows a fragment of the ancient parchment with red and black seals on which the Declaration of Arbroath was written in Latin on April 6, 1320. The most famous section reads 'For as long as but a hundred of us remain alive, never will we on any conditions be brought under English rule. It is in truth not for glory, nor riches, nor honours, that we are fighting, but for freedom - for that alone, which no honest man gives up but with life itself.' The background is yellow lichen treated with a red filter.
