It is based on the teachings, life, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, who is considered the Son of God and the Savior of humanity. At the heart of Christianity is the belief in one God, who exists as the Father, the Son (Jesus Christ), and the Holy Spirit—together known as the Holy Trinity. The central message of Christianity is salvation through faith in Jesus Christ. Each branch has distinct traditions, interpretations, and practices. Within these branches, there are numerous denominations, reflecting the diversity of Christian beliefs and practices.
