Vulture Kulture® is a lifestyle brand created by renowned artist Dan Statler, best known for his metal artwork and for his work as the production designer for the hit Discovery Channel show Monster Garage. Dan has a passion for the vintage images from his childhood and explores this passion in his art. His artistic influences include classic Sci-Fi movies, the Space Age, the Polynesian Tiki culture, the California Car Culture, car races (his father was a stock car racer), and Googie architecture. The Vulture Kulture® look, fondly referred to as “Metal Art with an Edge,” represents the spirit of the Retro, Low Brow Art, Rockabilly lifestyle, and California Car Culture while possessing a deliberate “Kustom Kulture” sensibility with a modern flare.
