My name is Lexi and I'm a wife, a daughter, a dog mom, a nurse, a dreamer, an optimist and an artist. For as long as I can remember, I have been obsessed with computers, photography, graphics, graphic design, and web design. Despite being a child of the 80's, we always had a computer in our home and I very clearly remember playing around with the old school Print Shop software, making cards and banners for everyone's birthdays and holidays. (I would print them off with that old perforated paper with the strips on the side - and then we'd color the left over strips and make them into "caterpillars" LOL. I hope some of you will get that reference!) I never grew out of this passion and through the years I have continued to work on learning different skills and programs. In high school and college I took photography, web design, and graphic design classes. As new trends and programs come along, like Procreate and Canva, I have spent time to learn them as well. I absolutely love to design and create beautiful and useful products - its my passion! My process is pretty simple - I am inspired by things that make me smile and feel uplifted. I make things that I like. I sell things that I would want to buy. I offer things that I use in my own home. The name of my shop is inspired by multiple facets in my life. "Sugar Cream Designs" comes partly from my British Heritage with the tradition of tea drinking being deeply ingrained in my life. I also have an adorable English Cream Retriever who has inspired the name of my shop.
