We thought we were getting out of the "business" of dog rescue, but our reputation has followed us. Unfortunately, if we do not find the dogs that are midnight dumps before the neighbors do, they will get shot in this farming community. We have a $1,000 Vet bill we are paying, from a relatively large group of dogs left to die on our road last fall. They were so close to death already, we did rush them to the emergency vet for fluids, antibiotics, prescription food, milk replacer & more.
