Hi all! :) My name's Dave (a.k.a. Nobody777). I'm from Eastern Washington, USA. I'm happily married and work as an IT director for a local association for my day job, as well as manage several websites on the side. I enjoy music, reading, computers, video games, travel, movies, and studying the Bible. I love to laugh. I love spending time with good friends and family. I am a deeply devoted follower of Jesus, though I am not a fan of organized religion (i.e. “mainstream Christianity” or “institutional churchianity” as I call it). In late 2001, shortly after the death of my father, I left the church I had attended for many years and set out to pursue my relationship with God outside the boundaries of typical organized religion. I've never looked back and never had a regret. This life, knowing Jesus, and not feeling like I have to validate it by measuring up to religious expectations or investing all my energies into the beast of organized religion, is the greatest journey faith I have encountered. I have found that so many people are curious about God and feel a deep inner-desire to know Him, yet are turned off by the distraction of religion, which so poorly represents Him so often anyway. If there's one thing I know, it is that God is good and He loves people. The entire message of the Gospel is such that it proves how greatly God loves people - that He would even come to this earth (as He did in the person of Jesus), clothed in humanity, to save the world through His death on the cross and resurrection to life eternal.
