What if superheroes didn’t have supernatural powers, but were humans with incredible drive, who worked really hard to expand their knowledge? What if our superheroes were scientists? We started the My Super Science Heroes project to inspire children with awe about the pursuit of knowledge. We feature researchers who have made great contributions to society as if they were super heroes fighting against ignorance. Our fictional characters use their very human super powers to solve problems, challenge the status quo, and eventually make important discoveries. This collection is meant for children between 6 and 9 years old. The super heroes, as alter ego of the children, instil a positive message about following their curiosity, do not give up upon failure, and be critical about ignorance and superficiality.
