Earned in the Dirt. Proven in the Pits. Monkey Butt Racing wasn’t born in a design studio. It was born in the back of a pickup truck, covered in a thick layer of fine dust and the smell of burnt premix. We grew up on the local tracks and the hidden trails—the places where the only thing thicker than the mud is the competition. We spent our weekends chasing the perfect line, catching air, and occasionally eating dirt. After a full day of seat-bouncing through ruts and white-knuckling through the woods, we realized that while our bikes were "factory," our lifestyle gear was anything but. We were tired of "off-track" clothes that couldn't handle the reality of the dirt life. We wanted gear that worked as hard as a fuel-injected 450 but felt like your favorite worn-in hoodie. The "Monkey Butt" Badge of Honor In the dirt world, "Monkey Butt" is a badge of honor. It means you didn’t pull off the track when the blisters started. It means you stayed in the saddle until the sun went down and the gas tank was dry. It’s the soreness that comes from a 50-mile enduro or a weekend-long scramble. We named the brand Monkey Butt Racing because we make apparel for the people who actually ride. The ones who know that the best days end with a pressure washer in one hand and a cold drink in the other.
