Kim Codner's artwork spans multiple mediums. She works in pen, pencil, watercolor, printmaking and collage. She is always curious about new mediums and techniques and expanding her skills. Kim prefers working with her hands versus sole computer generated creations. She also welcomes the challenges of working in various size and scale of projects. Her early days started creating greeting cards. Kim is currently working on mixed media artwork, pattern surface design and as a scenic artist where she creates sets for theater, television & film. The themes of her artwork flow from nature; living in coastal New England, vintage, nostalgia and repurposed items and celebrating everyday objects As an artist her philosophy is that art should be obtainable to everyone and enjoyed everyday.
