Lucie Walker's Original paintings

I learn something with every painting, and the act of painting has unearthed great passion. Well I have never lacked passion, lol, but it's unearthed a way to express it. Painting was always "in me" but it didn't come out, I never did paintings, before last January. I used to draw cards for my parents' anniversary, or birthdays when I was a kid. And I counted drawing as a childhood past time, and got in "trouble" for doodling all over my book covers at school... that sort of thing. But in all my grown up years (I'm 41) I never painted on canvas or did "a painting". I did papier mache and painted those. lol as I'm writing it's starting to unravel, even to my own ear... 'then there was that gallery show, but that didn't count...' lol so I guess the more I say on the subject the more I realize I've been leaking artistic endeavours all along. It's like trying to keep a beach ball underwater...eventually it's gonna whoosh out the side and escape.... same thing with trying to keep a talent for something down. It leaks out here and there in your life as you try and hush it and brush it away. That's me and art, I guess.
