Give_It_Some_Thought

From the earliest days of humanity there has always been what the current president of the United States, Donald Trump, refers to as 'Fake News'. Most people called them lies, falsehoods, misquotes, misrepresentations, half-truths, etc. We have all been socialized and educated to accept certain facts or beliefs without giving them any thought and that is not always in our best interest, no matter at which point on the political spectrum we claim to stand on. We thought it would be interesting to provide some challenges to certain things which are commonly accepted but not necessarily the truth or factual. Hopefully you will be encouraged to do the research needed to reach the "gist" of those statements, phrases, factoids we have shared with you. At the very least, in attempting to uncover the "gist" of a matter you will "give-it-some-thought" or study that previously escaped you.
