I'm appalled at the inauguration of Donald Trump. We went from a president who was intelligent and inclusive to one who is vulgar, greedy, ignorant, egotistical...one who is full of hate and has no compassion or understanding for the working poor. I'm hoping that our younger citizens who are in their 20s and 30s will become more active in politics and voting. I believe that if there was more participation from this age group, even if just voting, Trump would not have won the election. I am an entrepreneur of 2 "starter" businesses, and I'm separated from my husband and struggling to make it with 2 young kids. I donate and contribute to left-wing political non-profits as much as I possibly can...even if just $3.00 or more per month. Every bit helps. I will continue to make the effort to contribute to organizations such as Progressive Turnout Project, MoveOn, Rock the Vote, CREDO Action, Americans United for Change, etc.
