Hello! My name is Natalie Pollitt and I am the face behind Cobblestone Design Company. I started Cobblestone Design Company in December 2017 to inspire more creativity, entrepreneurship, and love in my life. I love to create these detailed works of art to appreciate the history and architecture of these beautiful buildings designed by others. My friends, family, and colleagues enjoy my product because they are moody, complex, and have a depth created by glazing with warm tones before painting the final layers. I start my paintings by sketching out photographs that myself or my clients have taken on stretched high quality watercolor paper. Then I will "glaze" the painting in shades of yellow (or red, or blue, to create different moods). Finally, the last aspect of the painting are the final layers of color, often varying from the original color composition of the photograph, making artistic decisions along the way.
