Über mich/uns

Born in Sao Paulo, Brazil, I was always interested in art, colors, photography, design and jewelry, I decided to chase the dissimilarity and try all different mediums to create art. I graduated from the Faculdade de Belas Artes de Sao Paulo with degrees in Architecture Design, Fine Arts and Art History. I taught Art Education in Elementary and Secondary schools and Expression and Fundaments of the Communication of Art for College graduates. Inspired in contrasts and colors, mix of textures and techniques, I tried many other mediums, ceramics, design, art restoration and anything else that could be related with art and/or color. I moved to Alaska in 2001, where the intensity of contrasts increased my chase for colors and art conception. Alaska is so full of colors, different tones of white and powerful contrasts in the winter, every color in the summer and unimaginable shades in fall and spring. I started photographing the local beauty, integrating my education and past experience into my passion for colors, and obtaining magnificent images of Alaska. I enjoy photographing the Alaskan daily life and the scenery of this beautiful State, in special views of Denali and Glaciers in the Alaska Range. I live near Talkeetna, with my husband, my son and a Karelian bear dog.
