Hello and welcome. I'm sorry to have missed you, but please make yourself at home and don't mind the mess as I let creativity fly. A seizure, PTSD, and depression nearly took me from this world. In my darkest moment I found photography and discovered a love for nature and being outdoors. With the love and strength of my wife and my faith that God has work for me still to do, I began to study photography full time. I was formerly known as the author Robert M. Hahn. Seven years ago Blue Eyed Jay Photography was born. We served our small town and surrounding areas and I was deeply honored to be asked by the American Legion to cover the homecoming of a WWII POW. My passion has driven me here. The name has been shortened, but BEJ Photo will always be more than a business to me. It's what saved my life and sanity. These photos are a part of me. Each one, a step closer to the calm and peace that PTSD so readily destroys. Do I sell my art; of course. Because without you, my wife and my God, I could not do what I love most in this life.
