I grew up in hackney in the 70s onwards and if you were black you was part of any black community just because you were black. No matter which island or country your heritage was we lived like brothers and sisters. And after watching the George floyd killing on tv and seeing the pain of our people and the coming together of our community it was so emotional, real love and a sense of belonging and I want to keep the love going and no matter where you were born or live I want is to know where we came from in the beginning. Our paths take many turns but we must remember our home. And remember there is no place like home
