When the Spanish Archbishop demanded proof of a miracle She provided Spanish roses which the Aztec Juan Diego took to the Spanish Archbishop in his cloak or tilma ... when the roses spilled to the floor there appeared the image of the Virgin Mary upon the cloak tilma. This image still exists encased upon the altar of the chapel built upon the hill in Mexico City. This image is one of the most popular of devotional images in the World, today. I write this note in January 2026 ... 4 1/2 years ago, I was driving home after working 2nd shift, when a semi truck crashed into the back of my small car crushing the upper part of the back end of my car all the way up to my rear window shoving my car and me across the highway, over the median, turning my car a full revolution ending up onto the shoulder of the highway on the opposite side facing oncoming traffic. I was miraculously unharmed and able to open my driver door and exit my still running car. The semi truck never stopped. It was a hit and run accident. In the rear of my car was this badge just like the one shown here. Still perfectly unharmed as well. Same day I walked a half mile to see a doctor to get approved to return to work immediately same day except I still needed to replace my car. I still drive the car I bought then. I am now age 73 1/2 ... I was age 69 when that semi truck crashed into me. I often wondered if having this badge clipped to my lunchbox was proof of a miracle. mark
