Hidden among the trees in Claremont, North Carolina, the Bunker Hill Covered Bridge is more than 125 years old and one of only two covered bridges left in the state. Built in 1895, this rare wooden beauty stretches over Lyle Creek, offering a picture-perfect slice of history surrounded by peaceful nature. Look closely and you’ll notice a touch of “modern art” on its old wooden beams, some light graffiti that adds a quirky layer to its long story.
