Angry Lady Liberty Gets Up To Fight For Christmas This Christmas tshirt shows a very angry Lady Liberty standing up to fight for America, for our Constitution and for Christmas to be the season of freedom, of giving, of love, of liberty and of fighting for good against those who are trying to destroy all of them right now - this Christmas and holiday season. It is more than resistance against the wealthiest stealing our nation's assets under the Republicans now running our govt. It is the protection of our rights, freedom, liberty and justice guaranteed in our Constitution and rule of law that they are assaulting, ignoring, violating and undermining. This fight Lady Liberty and all of us are engaged in is to protect and defend our Constitution and every founding principle of the USA that underwrites it and our nation born of freedom and liberty. This design uses a painting of the Statue of Liberty taking off her pedestal and free of it to fight for our democracy, our freedom and our Constitution once again. The painting I did before a fire destroyed our home and studio. I had photographed it while still in progress then decided to put in on a tshirt instead of the Christmas design I had made that I was trying (now behind it). When I saw the look of the two designs interposed and how well it visually defined the fact that this really is a fight this Christmas for our nation's democracy and our freedoms and Christmas - well, I'm offering it as it is. I like it and what it says. Very appropriate. Makes a very different kind of Christmas sweater / tshirt. Lady Liberty is right to be mad AF.
