Women's March

Pussyhat Project was founded after the 2016 election so that women’s rights supporters could “make a unique, collective visual statement.” The iconic pink pussy hat gained popularity on January 21, 2017 when 200,000 people marched on Washington D.C. to support gender equality. Thousands of handmade, knitted pink pussyhats were spotted on heads at the National Mall and other protest locations throughout the world.
