Through the Eyes of the Blind

I am a legally blind creator and this collection is created with the idea of using blind related memes, my original artwork, designs, and photographs. You may also notice that black labradors are a common theme throughout the collection. That is because my (now retired) guide dog, Leif, has been by my side for over 11 years and he is an integral part of my life so he is often the star of some of my creations. Many may categorize some of my artwork as abstract or impressionistic but that is because I paint what I can see with my last bits of my remaining sight, paired with my own life experiences, memories and travels. Some of these are also based on descriptions provided to me by my wife who has been by my side for the last 21 years and has suffered the challenges of losing one's sight right along with me. I have always loved painting and creating art in various forms, it has become more challenging but if you are looking for a truly unique piece created by someone learning to navigate a new way of "seeing" the world, then I would be honored to have your support.
