Sara Tourtellotte

Sara Tourtellotte is the primary caretaker at Da Fear-No-More at the Mountain Of Attention Sanctuary in Northern California, home to a herd of Bactrian camels, horses, llamas, and goats. She lives near the sanctuary in a yurt that she built after losing her home in the Valley Fire. Her service to non-humans began early, with a family life filled with a variety of animals. Prior to her assuming her current role as "contemplative shepherd" to her Guru's Sacred Herd of camels, Sara was a professional jeweler and artist. She currently engages her artwork as a devotional medium, creating renderings of the non-human residents at the sanctuary.
