Personalized Mugs with Splattered Watercolor Paint

Whether muted and subtle or rich and wildly vivid, the color palettes on these mugs are only part of the design story. Starting with paper and good watercolor paints, I washed, dribbled and splattered pools and rivulets of colors over the surface. Then after importing photos I shot of the results into Photoshop, I further manipulated some of the results to get even more bold, intense, wacky color combinations... not all, but some of these almost Easter-egg-reminiscent color results make me giggle out loud. Maybe your favorite artsy type will also appreciate one of these!
