Marble Tendrils

This design collection is based on a painting by me, of a tendril from the plant world that is sculpted in marble. A tendril is a leaf, stipule, or stem modified into a slender, spirally, coiling sensitive organ, serving to attach a climbing plant to its support. In ancient civilizations, such as Greek and Roman, they were sculpted out of marble, to decorate the frieze of an entablature, that sat over the columns of a temple. As a piece of sculpture, it brings nature's elegance into the world of architectural decoration. But by making its painting, it was possible to carefully format it on appropriate products, so as to transfer the elegance onto products!
