Dylan was born prematurely and without a heartbeat. After an emergency C-section, doctors spent 22 minutes bringing him back to life. He spent a month at CHOC's neonatal intensive care unit, where doctors carefully warned his family that Dylan might not ever be able to walk or talk. But thanks to his determination to heal, Dylan has grown into an energetic eleven-year-old with a black belt in Jiu-Jitsu. He and his sister Payton, also a CHOC patient, are determined to work together to do their best in everything.
