Democracy Is Not Just For Liberals

Democracy may be thought of as a liberal approach to government. These days, the freedom of everyone from the tyranny of minority rule depends on the power of our democratic institutions to withstand the assault of those who would have us bend to their personal will. America was founded on democracy and it is up to us to preserve it for ourselves and future generations.
