3D INFANTRY REGIMENT - "THE OLD GUARD"

This is a tribute to "America's Regiment" Since 1784 the 3d Infantry Regiment - "The Old Guard" has defended the freedoms enjoyed by those living in the United States of America. Beginning on April 6, 1948, the regiment has been garrisoned at Historic Fort Myer, Virginia. They have a dual mission of being the elite ceremonial unit of the US Army and defending Washington DC. Whether it is conducting final honors or guarding the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Arlington National Cemetery, or Andrews Air Force Base, Whitehouse or Pentagon Arrivals, the "Old Guard" does an outstanding job.
